Keselowski Qualifies 14th at Phoenix

AVONDALE, Ariz. (November 9, 2012) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified 14th for Sunday’s AdvoCare 500 – the ninth race of the 2012 Chase for the Championship – at Phoenix International Raceway.Keselowski toured the one-mile oval in 26.350 seconds, or 136.622 miles per hour, in in the Friday afternoon time trial session. Sam Hornish Jr. qualified 26th in the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge Charger.
“I don’t know if we answered any of our qualifying questions, but we put down a decent lap,” said Keselowski. “Obviously we’d like to have a little bit more, but we’re working on it. We’ll take it and go racing on Sunday from a decent spot.”
The AdvoCare 500 will air live at 2:00 p.m. ET on the ESPN on Sunday afternoon. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
