Keselowski Leads Penske Racing Qualifying Effort at Texas

FORT WORTH, Texas (April 16, 2010) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Charger team led the Penske Racing NASCAR Nationwide Series qualifying effort for the O’Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday afternoon

Keselowski will start the 200-lap event from the 12th starting position. He toured the 1.5-mile oval in 29.323 seconds, or 184.156 miles per hour. Penske Racing teammate, Justin Allgaier, will start 18th. 

“We were hoping that the sun didn't come out, that's for sure,” said Keselowski. “The track temperature went up drastically and the affected our setup a bit. Not a bad lap for our Discount Tire Dodge. A little free, but that's because the sun came out and made the track a little slicker. We’ll just have to deal with it, but I think our car is pretty fast."

The O’Reilly 300 will air live tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on PRN Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio.
